Nestled in a park just steps from the Jura vineyards, the establishment is a superb starting point for a day of touristic discovery.
The hotel PARENTHESE occupies a late 18th-century mansion, which still bears the traces of a winegrowers’ house. A holiday home for seminarians, then a summer camp for Rhone-Poulenc since 1952, it has acquired a discreet lustre that suits this great building well. In 1989 it was Odile and Gérard Guyot who created the hotel Parenthèse, and since February 2018, Elodie and Christophe Bassard, took over the torch by breathing new life into the “Au Verbe Aimer” restaurant
.Located on the slopes of Chille, at the edge of the village, in a rural and hilly landscape, just 2.5 km from the centre of Lons-le-Saunier, it is like “the countryside in the town”.

The hotel has 33 air-conditioned charming rooms, each named after a painter. Each room is inspired by the world of the artist and includes a reproduction of their work. Hotel PARENTHESE is the ideal place for a business or tourist trip with family, as a couple or even a stopover.
The Au Verbe Aimer restaurant
Fully renovated in 2018, the Au Verbe Aimer restaurant offers diners creative gourmet cuisine. The menu created by chef Christophe Bassard gives pride of place to fresh, seasonal and local products wherever possible.
